History
The history of the Albion-Norman Empire is one that is rich and derived from two strong nations that formed into one. The earliest of the countries that formed the empire was the Grand Duchy of Normandy and Hull that came into existence in 1707 with the separation from the Kingdom of Saxony and proclamation of Grand Duchess Amy. The start of the grand duchies history reigned in an era of industrial revolution and increasing economic growth within the small country that soon expanded to a small island of the pacific known as Hull. By 17040 Hull had become a colony of Normandy and under in Grand Duke Peter it was declared a constitute part of the country.
Prior tot he Act of Unification in 2010, the Kingdom of Albion and the Wesley Islands stood a lone nation comprised of the Western European nation of Albion and Pacific island chain known as the Wesley Islands. Albion was founded in the mid 1700s by wealthy nobility and land owners that utilized the labour of Afro-Caribbean slaves to work the land. While the use of slaves brought great moral objection to the small island it also brought about wealth. In 1789, the Great Revolution with the assassination of the Duke of Dunne, head of the ruling family of Albion, by the revolting slaves. It was not long before the revolt turned into a full civil war with the slave class being lead by the Conrad Bowen. By 1793, the much of the nobility in Albion had left the island leaving the slaves to rebuild their communities and culture. In 1796, Conrad Bowen was names King of Albion.
The slaves class of the Wesley Islands watched with great interest the events in Albion and in 1854 Chief Tongan travelled to Albion seeking the aid of King Conrad for the release of his people from the colonization. In 1856, the Great Disturbance of the Wesley Islands pushed the colonial powers off the islands and joined the Kingdom of Albion.
